You're partially right, quite a bit of my income this year has come from slot jackpots. That machine alone ended up being worth +$8600 (+$4300 each for me and my buddy) but it's expected value was really only +$800.
But I'm thinking my initial suspicion was correct. Bored housewife with too much money that wanted a YouTube channel.

There are dozens, if not more, youtube slot channels, and thousands of individual videos. Her production quality is better than average, and she's showing interesting machines with no ads. So what's the harm in her being a non-expert? She builds the jackpots you snap off. I'd think you'd encourage her all the more. I was never fooled(youtube = one big add) however I thought she should get a skeptical(very skeptical) benefit of the doubt. But then I saw her later posts about showing us how to make millions. If that's not sarcasm, I would tend to think this person is an unwanted parisite looking for a few idiots.
I don't even mind people advertising themselves of their products, I just hate when people are trying to act all innocent and they are sneaky about it. If someone came on here with some honesty asking for support, I would be more than happy to click and support them(as long as it was not some BS betting system).
At least some people admitted they liked free chippies.

I may be missing something, but:
- there are no ads in her videos
- there are no ads on her youtube page
- she isn't claiming to sell anything
- she told the old joke 'how do you make a small fortune gambling? Start with a large fortune'. Mocking herself, not selling something.
90% or more of people who gamble do it for entertainment or as a hobby. The rest are either addicts or pros of some kind (AP's, cheats, system sellers, poker pros, academics, etc). As far as I can tell, she's one of the 90% and is sharing the fun.
Her biggest mistake so far is not knowing her audience here, at least among the regulars; this crowd is routinely snide and dismissive of casual players. Been her, learned the hard way, earned a grudging respect from some here that took years.

People are directed here from WoO to ask questions and learn from people willing to share their tips and expertise from a mathematically based approach to gaming. That focus gets lost in threads like this.

No, I haven't...at least I haven't noticed.
For one, the people who do it on slots (like that one guy that always plays at Silverton it appears), for the most part, I'm not playing slots. Yes, I know, that was the most AxelWolf'd sentence I've probably ever written.Also, the ones at Cosmopolitan likely go out on Friday and Saturday nights. Unless I absolutely have to be out on the strip on a weekend night, I'm not going to be there.
Also, oftentimes it seems like the people that do the group pulls at least have a big ol' crowd around them. That happens rather frequently, I think, although I'm not sure how often people in those groups are recording the slot machines and/or uploading them to youtube or are doing those group pulls things.Rigondeaux
